Summary of Information for Shipper's of Household Goods

>

Author: The New York State Department of Transportation
Moves within any particular State are regulated by a different set of rules than interstate moves (interstate moves take place from one State to another). Moves within a State are called intrastate moves and are generally regulated by a State's Department of Transportation, Public Utilities Commission or other State governmental body (some states are unregulated). Moves within New York State are governed by the New York State Department of Transportation which specifies that all Shipper's of household goods within New York State must be given the "Summary of Information for Shipper's of Household Goods" booklet by the carrier (the mover). Through the miracle of modern technology Avatar Moving Systems publishes the NYS Department of Transportation's "Summary of Information for Shipper's of Household Goods" which is the definitive word on the rules and procedures that govern an intra New York State move. This is it...it's all here...you need look no further for information about moving within the State of New York.
