I have some extra furniture in my home that I will not be taking with me when I move soon. Can you suggest where I may be able to sell it or get rid of it? Any ideas please?

Thanks for your question Freebird. You didn't mention where you were moving to, so I will assume you are moving from the New York area. Many shelters throughout New York City provide service to victims of violence and abuse, the homeless and the mentally or physically ill rely on furniture donations. Contact shelters in your area through the yellow pages or by contacting the United Way.
